Options

All input options are divided into three groups: standard, unmatched, and unrecognized. The outcome results are also organized into three corresponding sections.

IMPORTANT: The service does not validate the option logic for input or output motors; listed options may not be technically supported for a given motor.

Standard options

Standard options are those that can be replaced by alternatives with similar meaning or equivalent motor configurations. There are three possible cases.

Case 1: meaning of the options are the same.

Example:

  • 466=Terminal box at N-end and
  • H08=Terminal box on NDE

Case 2: technically options are not fully equal but the meaning is very similar.

Example:

  • 058=Angular contact bearing at D-end, shaft force away from bearing and
  • L34=Bearings for high axial tension forces

Whether options are not totally the same but the meaning is equivalent; some additional information might be required

IMPORTANT: always compare options description in result outcome and income.

Case 3: options which change outcome motor MLFB or influence on other way. The list of such options:

  • 405=Special winding insulation for frequency converter supply. This option is used in case of VSD application and voltage net over 500V. If this option appears, the tool is looking for the motor from SD Pro line
  • 009=IM 2001 foot/flange mounted, IEC flange, from IM 1001 (B35 from B3). Option modify MLFB code mounting position to 'J'
  • 047=IM 3601 flange mounted, IEC flange, from IM 3001 (B14 from B5). Option modify MLFB code mounting position to 'K'
  • 008=IM 2101 foot/flange mounted, IEC flange, from IM 1001 (B34 from B3). Option modify MLFB code mounting position to 'N'
  • 021=Terminal box LHS (seen from D-end). Option modify MLFB code terminal box position to '6'
  • 180=Terminal box RHS (seen from D-end). Option modify MLFB code terminal box position to '5'
  • 702= Insulated bearings at both ends. Option adds to options to the result motor: L50 and L51

Unmatched options

The unmatched options are those that do not have identical or similar counterparts.

Example:

  • 174=Smoke extraction specification, 400 ÂșC, 2 hours, DOL use, class F400 according to EN 121013

In such cases specify the option with Customer or request an NLO option.

There are also options that generally describe the motor design and must be specified on a case-by-case basis.

Example:

  • 100=Special design according to quotation (production orders)

Unrecognized options

These options cannot be recognized by the tool. They may be new options not included in the current release, or simply typos.
